Overview

Tuscany is a region in central Italy. Its capital, Florence, is home to some of the world’s most recognizable Renaissance art and architecture, including Michelangelo’s "David" statue, Botticelli’s works in the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo basilica. Tour Plan

Day 01

ARRIVE AT FLORENCE, TRANSFER TO SIENA

On arrival at Florence International airport and transfer to the hotel in Siena area, check in to your hotel and relax. Dinner at local restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02

SIENA – SAN GIMIGNANO

After breakfast departure to Siena. Guided walking tour the historical city centre, admiring the changes to the town over the centuries and enjoying its spectacular views and the interesting details of its history. With an authorised guide you will be able to appreciate the major tourist attractions like Piazza del Campo, the true heart of the town, the “Palazzo Comunale” (Town Hall), the Cathedral and the majestic Basilica of San Domenico. Lunch in restaurant. In the afternooon departure to the medieval town of San Gimignano, UNESCO World Heritage site. Guided walking tour of the centre and its hundred towers. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 03

MONTEPULCIANO – PIENZA – MONTALCINO

After breakfast departure for an excursion along the wine road. First stop to the charming town of Montepulciano, well know for its “Nobile” wine but also for its medieval centre, rich in history and art. Guided visit of the hamlet and tasting of typical products. The tour proceeds to Val D’Orcia, to the jewels of Pienza & Montalcino. Walking tour of Pienza to admire the squares and historical buildings that preserve the secrets of the art of Rossellini and traces of the noble papal power. This artistic and natural heritage is joined by taste and fragrance: Pienza tradition is the typical Pecorino cheese. Stop in a typical shop to taste some culinary specialties. Transfer to Montalcino, sanctuary of Brunello wine, presently considered the best wine in the world, which has its ancestral roots in the passion of the inhabitants of Montalcino and in the ancient winemaking tradition, handed down from one generation to the next. Visit one of the best wineries on the territory and taste the prestigious wine, produced from Sangiovese grapes, stands on a charming hill that will let you relish its natural wholesomeness. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 04

FLORENCE

After breakfast departure to discover the “Cradle of the Renaissance”. Guided walking tour of the city centre including the beautiful Cathedral Square, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John and Santa Croce, the 13th-century Franciscan Church with Cimabue’s famous crucifix. Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon free time at leisure. We suggest to visit Uffizi Gallery to admire magnificent paintings of Leonardo, Giotto, Michelangelo, Botticelli and Raffaello. Dinner ad overnight at hotel.

Day 05

PISA – LUCCA

Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to Pisa. Meeting with the tour guide and visit of the historic centre of the city, an ancient Maritime Republic, with the famous “Campo dei Miracoli” which includes the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery and the famous Tower. Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon transfer to Lucca and guided tour of the historic centre of the city with Piazza S. Michele in Foro with the Romanesque church, St. Martin Cathedral, the medieval streets and Piazza Anfiteatro. Then city tour by bike inside the walls of Lucca. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 06

LUCCA - SIENA, DEPARTURE

After breakfast, packing up your bags and take the leave from your hotel and you will be directly transferred to the Siena International airport from where you can fly back to your homeland.

Travel Documents

Original passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of tour arrival along with sufficient blank pages for the stamping of visa.

Visa :

Schengen Visa required for Indian passport holder to visit Europe. You need to obtain visa from embassy before your travel to Europe.

Payment Terms

Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favor of "VM HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY LLP".
You can also book your package online with Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

From 30-22 Days : 25%
From 20-16 Days : 50%
From 15-07 Days : 75%
From 06-00 Days : 100%

Refund Policy :

Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

Booking Tnc

The above price is per person basis. High Season Surcharges are applicable; rates are not valid for long weekends and public holidays.
Child up to 4 yrs is Complimentary, Adult: 12 years and above.
Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving Licence, Passport.
All rates are valid for Indian national only.
The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice.
The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.
Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable.
Itinerary is subject to change.The above mentioned cost is not valid during National Holidays, festive season/long weekends, Christmas & New year.

Special Notes

Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing.
The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
