ARRIVE IN CAIRO

Welcome to Egypt. On arrival at Cairo International airport, we will be at the airport to welcome you, and to assist you in any way we can. When immigration formalities have been taken care of, we will drive you in style to the Hotel where you will be staying for your first two nights in Egypt.

Once at the hotel, we will assist you with check and then we’ll discuss your tour itinerary with you, and also confirm pick up times for your various tours. Enjoy a free “Welcome” drink and then enjoy the rest of the day any way you want. Go out and explore the city; try some local food; relax next to the pool, or simply retire to you room for some peace and quiet. Dinner at restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

PYRAMIDS & SAKKARA NECROPOLIS

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, where you will then go with your private guide to visit the Great Pyramids, including Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. You will also see the Famous Sphinx and the Valley temple. Tickets for the Solar Boat Museum which is located at the site in front of the Cheops pyramid are not included in the tour price but can be purchased onsite and also give you access to the inside of one of the pyramids.

Lunch will be served during the tour, and then your guide will escort you to Sakkara to visit the Sakkara pyramid complex and the first known pyramid to be built, Djoser’s Step Pyramid. Then, you will continue on to Memphis, the Old Kingdom’s capital to see the infamous Necropolis. Finally, after a busy day of sightseeing, you will be returned to your hotel for the evening. Dinner at restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

CAIRO SIGHTSEEING

You will enjoy breakfast in your hotel and then a full day of sightseeing around Cairo. Your first stop will be the Egyptian Museum, where you will be able to get a glimpse of the 5,000 years of heritage and culture in Egypt.

You will then visit the Alabaster Mosque built by Mohammed Ali in the 1800s, as well as the Cairo Citadel of Salah El Din. You will then move on to Coptic Cairo, where you will see the Hanging Church, the Abu Sirga Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Finally, you will head to the Giza train station to take a sleeper train to Luxor. You will dine and sleep aboard the train in a private compartment. Dinner at restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

ASWAN SIGHTSEEING

After arriving in Aswan, our company representative will escort you to the hotel where you will be staying. There are no tours planned for this day, but there are optional tours available, such as visiting the Abu Simbel Temples, originally carved out of the mountains in the 13th century BC. Dinner at restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

ASWAN SIGHTSEEING

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and then check out of the hotel. Our tour representative with then drive you to board the 5-Star Nile cruise ship. After enjoying lunch on the ship, the rest of the day will be spent visiting the Aswan High Dam, the Philae temple (devoted to goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the ancient stone quarry where the largest known Obelisk, the infamous Unfinished Obelisk, is located. Return to the ship where a lovely dinner will be served, and then spend the night on board, in Aswan. Dinner and an overnight stay onboard.

TEMPLES OF KOMO OMBO & EDFU

On day 6 of your Nile cruise and Red Sea stay you will sail to Kom Ombo, and have breakfast on board. Then visit the Temple of Sobek and Haerosis in Kom Ombo. Afterwards, sail to Edfu, with lunch on board. Visit the well preserved cult temple, Horus Temple in Edfu, and have afternoon tea while sailing to Esna. Dinner will be served on board and you will spend another night on the water. Dinner and an overnight stay onboard.

LUXOR WEST BANK SIGHTSEEING

Sail to Luxor while enjoying breakfast on board. on arrival visit the West bank, with an excursion to Valley of the Kings, the Royal Cemetery, and the Mortuary Temple of Queen Haatshepsut. This was built during the 15th century BC by the architects of the New Kingdom. The West Bank attractions will very likely be one of the highlights of your trip. Dinner and an overnight stay onboard.

LUXOR EAST BANK SIGHTSEEING

Today your Nile cruise and Red Sea stay enjoy breakfast on board and disembark from the ship. You will then be taken to visit the impressive Karnak Temple and majestic Luxor Temple. Later in the afternoon you will transfer to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast, where you will check-in at the hotel where you will be staying during your time in Hurghada. Luxor to Hurghada is approximately a 3.5 hour drive. Dinner and an overnight stay at hotel.

LEISURE TIME IN HURGHADA

Since these two days are all about quality relaxation time, there are no activities scheduled. However, there are a number of optional tours available if you wish to experience scuba diving in Hurghada and snorkeling among the Red Sea coral reefs, with the opportunity to see rare fish. There are also other activities available, such as windsurfing, sailing or deep sea fishing.

LEISURE TIME IN HURGHADA

HURGHADA - CAIRO

After breakfast in the hotel, enjoy some free time before we drive you back to Cairo, a journey that takes approximately six hours. After arrival at Cairo, check-in to hotel and relax. Dinner at restaurant. An overnight stay at hotel.

DEPARTURE FROM CAIRO

Wake up to a wonderful breakfast at your hotel, and get ready leave. Our representative will arrive with a driver and you’ll be taken to the airport in time for you to catch your flight back home, and it will be time for everyone to say their goodbyes.
