Overview

Zambia, in southern Africa, is a landlocked country of rugged terrain and diverse wildlife, with many parks and safari areas. On its border with Zimbabwe is famed Victoria Falls – indigenously called Mosi-oa-Tunya, or "Smoke That Thunders” – plunging a misty 108m into narrow Batoka Gorge. Spanning the Zambezi River just below the falls is Victoria Falls Bridge, a spectacular viewpoint. The national park is known to be the best spot for tourists where they can enjoy the serene vista and adventure of wildlife. You can spot the herds near the waterfall and some scenic backdrop at Luangwa River. The vast savannah and the 400 species of birds like yellow-billed storks, make the morning drive best in Luangwa national park.

Tour Plan

Day 01

ARRIVAL AT LUSAKA, TRANSFER TO SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

The Tour starts with your arrival in Lusaka at KK international airport. From there board a flight to Mfuwe and reaching there, you will further be transferred to you booked a lodge at South Luangwa National park. Check-in and the day is free to rest amidst the natural and serene settings of the park. Spend the day at pool and spa to enjoy the leisure. Dinner and an overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02

GAME DRIVE AT SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

Start the day with a tempting meal at the lodge before you head out to reach Bimilungwe Bushcamp. The national park is known to be the best spot for tourist where they can enjoy the serene vista and adventure of wildlife. You can spot the herds near the waterfall and some scenic backdrop at Luangwa River. The vast savannah and the 400 species of birds like yellow-billed storks, make the morning drive best in Luangwa national park.

Get back to the lodge for a break where you can rest and enjoy the lunch. You can visit for spa therapy before enjoying heading for an evening game drive. Get back to the lodge for dinner before calling off for the day. Dinner and an overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03

SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK GAME DRIVE

Undoubtedly, Luangwa National park offers you an enthralling safari tour where you will explore the most dynamic and breath-taking wilderness. The day starts with breakfast after which you will get ready for your morning game drive. With the captivating beauty of dawn and the refreshing atmosphere, you can spot the wilds as waterbucks, pukus, leopards, Impalas, buffaloes and giraffes. Witness the panoramic and lush landscape of the region with abundant wildlife and endemic vegetation.

Return to your lodge for brunch followed by lunch before starting the activity for the day. Enjoy the nap at the chalet or enjoy the wilderness from the deck. Later you can head out for your evening game drive to capture the glimpse of nature. Get back to the lodge for dinner before calling off for the day. An overnight stay at jungle lodge.

Day 04

SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

Starting up with the breakfast, you have the day for a wild tour around the wilderness. Enjoy the guided tour where you can spot the water bucks, pukus, leopards, Impalas, buffaloes and giraffes. Later during the late afternoon hours, get ready for your evening activity as gym and leisure at the pool. Evening hours will be packed with entertainment and adventure with sun downers and night safari around the waterholes and plains. Finishing up the day safari get back to the lodge where you will be served dinner. An overnight stay at jungle lodge.

Day 05

TRANSFER TO LIVINGSTONE

The delicious morning meal starts the day at the lodge. Later pack your essentials and you will be transferred to the airport to reach Livingstone On arrival, head towards the booked accommodation at the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park that lies at a distance of few kilometres from the Victoria Falls. The day is for leisure where you can enjoy the natural beauty and the serene atmosphere of the wilderness. Enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 06

TOUR OF VICTORIA FALLS

A refreshing breakfast will be served at the hotel before you leave for a day tour to Zambia. The day calls for the tour of falls where you will enjoy a guided walk to Victoria Falls discovering the bliss and beauty of the falls.

Walk around the rain forest to observe the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and study the natural facts and wildlife. Learn about the history, the tradition, culture and belief of the bygone era. You will discover the amazing “Smoke that Thunders” at the Victoria Falls, feeling the shower and the noise of the falls.

The remaining day is for leisure where you can spend the day exploring more in the surrounding area. There are activities as sunset cruise tour or a helicopter ride to0 enjoy if the time permits. Get back to the lodge to end your day and enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 07

DEPARTURE

Enjoy the morning with a delicious meal and later check-out from the lodge. Enjoy the drive from Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park to the airport to end the tour. Reaching the airport, you can board the flight to the onward destination.

Travel Documents

Original passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of tour arrival along with sufficient blank pages for the stamping of visa

Visa :

Zambia E-Visa is available for Indian passport holder. You need to obtain E-visa before your travel to Zambia.

Payment Terms

Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favor of "VM HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY LLP".
You can also book your package online with Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

From 30-22 Days : 25%
From 20-16 Days : 50%
From 15-07 Days : 75%
From 06-00 Days : 100%

Refund Policy :

Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

The above price is per person basis. High Season Surcharges are applicable; rates are not valid for long weekends and public holidays.
Child up to 4 yrs is Complimentary, Adult: 12 years and above.
Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving Licence, Passport.
All rates are valid for Indian national only.
The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice.
The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.
Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable.
Itinerary is subject to change.The above mentioned cost is not valid during National Holidays, festive season/long weekends, Christmas & New year.

Special Notes

Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing.
The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
