We start our Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Drive to Mtskheta which is the ancient capital of Georgia and visit Jvari Monastery, which means Monastery of the Cross. According to traditional accounts, on this location in the early 4th century Saint Nino, erected a large wooden cross on the site of a pagan temple. Proceed to Borjomi Resort. Start your day early after breakfast, preferably around 7 AM, to make the most of your time in the Caucasus mountains. The journey from Tbilisi to Kazbegi takes approximately 3-4 hours by car. One of the most popular destinations in the Caucasus region is the Kazbegi National Park, and the town of Stepantsminda (formerly Kazbegi) is often the focal point for visitors.
Have breakfast at the hotel. Start your Kakheti Excursion with a prompt pick up from your hotel or pre-agreed spot in Tbilisi. As you approach the destination, make your first halt at the venerated Bodbe Monastery, which enshrines the tomb of the 4th century apostle, St. Nino. After admiring its tranquil ambience, you’ll take a short drive from here to Sighnaghi whose prime attraction is the five-kilometer-long Sighnaghi Great Wall, erected during the 18th century. Start your day early, around 8 AM after breakfast, for a full day of exploration to Uplistsikhe, an ancient rock-hewn town, is located approximately 85 kilometers west of Tbilisi. The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours by car. Spend a few hours exploring the fascinating archaeological site of Uplistsikhe. Highlights include rock-cut structures, tunnels, a pagan temple, and a complex urban layout. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After lunch, continue your journey towards Borjomi, which is approximately 75 kilometers from Gori. The drive takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon reaching Borjomi, visit the Borjomi Central Park. Enjoy a leisurely stroll in the park, known for its beautiful landscapes, walking paths, and mineral water springs. Don't miss the iconic Borjomi Spring, where you can taste the natural mineral water.
After breakfast, enjoy rest of your day for shopping and extra activities. In afternoon, our representative will transfer you to Tbilisi International Airport for your further journey. Tour ends with some beautiful memories of Georgia.
