In the lap of Mother Nature, Sikkim is like a beautiful baby of the North Eastern states in India. This small state has so much to offer that it sometimes surprises the visitors. Adventure, nature, spiritualism, cultural and most importantly peace of mind, Sikkim is one of those places that some might call too good to be true. However, the fact remains, there exists a place as unbelievable as Sikkim that makes all the wishes of an avid traveler come true. In our 10N/11D tour, we offer the chance to explore the lesser explored part of Sikkim i.e., North Sikkim. Tour Plan

Day 01

Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra, Transfer to Gangtok

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, our representative will be there to meet and greet you and transfer you to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. An overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 02

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast in the morning, we will start an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), which are about 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. After exploring the lake and the temple, return back to your hotel in Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Day 03

Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed for local sightseeing tour in or around Gangtok which will include a visit to the Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok. These viewpoints offering panoramic view of snow capped Himalayan peaks as well as the Gangtok city. We will further proceed to visit the Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetology to have a glance of Tibetan antics, Orchid House (Collection of Himalayan orchids), Enchay Monastery, Dodurl Chorten, etc.

In the evening, we will visit the M G Marg, a busy market of Gangtok, for shopping and having Sikkimese delicacy at the local restaurant. An overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 04

Gangtok - Lachen

In the morning, we will drive to Lachen (9,400 ft, 118 km). On the way, we will visit the Seven Sister Waterfalls. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Check in at the hotel in the late afternoon. An overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Lachen.

Day 05

Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung

Today morning, we will drive towards Gurudongmar Lake (17,000ft). Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in North Sikkim. The altitude here is may cause breathing problem so be careful. Later return back to the hotel and leave for Lachung. Enjoy an overnight stay and dinner at Lachung hotel.

Day 06

Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Gangtok

After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to Yumthang Valley which is also known as the Valley of Flowers (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1 ½ hours one way). On the way back, we will visit the hot spring which is considered to have medicinal properties. Later return back to hotel & leave for Gangtok. An overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 07

Gangtok - Chardham - Pelling

Post breakfast; embark on a ride to Pelling, a tiny hamlet located in the West Sikkim. During the journey from Gangtok to Pelling, you will stop at Namchi where you will be going for sightseeing to Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham). At the Siddheshwar Dham, you can see a replica of all the 12 Jyotirlingas and four Dhams and 108 feet high statue of Lord Shiva. On arrival in Pelling, you will be transferred to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 08

Pelling Sightseeing, Pelling - Darjeeling

Early morning, treat yourself to the beautiful view of mountains. In the first half of the day, you will be visiting Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. Then in the second half, you will visit Pemayangtse Monastery (one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim), Rabdentse Ruins, and New Helipad Ground. Later in afternoon we drive to Darjeeling. Dinner and overnight stay and dinner at Darjeeling hotel.

Day 09

Darjeeling Sightseeing

This morning, you will drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 feet) to chase the down and see the stunning view of the sun rising and throwing it pinkish glow on the landscapes. After spending some time at the tiger hill, you will embark on a drive to the hotel via Ghum Monastery, which famed for its 15-feet high statue of "Maitreya Buddha" and Batasia Loop, famous for its war memorial. Enjoy scrumptious breakfast at the hotel and then go for the city sightseeing tour. As per the itinerary, today you will be visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evenings will be free for leisure. Stay and enjoy dinner at Darjeeling.

Day 10

Mirik Excursion

This day will be dedicated to Mirik excursion, a tiny hamlet, which is approximately 58.2 km from Darjeeling. On your journey to Mirik, you will be making your way through Indo-Nepal Border. Further, you will be visiting the Mirik Lake (4,902 feet), Sumendu Lake, Cardamom plantations and Tea Estates. At Mirik Lake, you can enjoy boating or horse riding. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 11

Darjeeling NJP/Bagdogra, Departure

After breakfast, Check out and embark on a drive from the hotel to reach New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri) or Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri). Your arrival at the railway station or airport will mark the end of the tour.

Payment Terms

Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favor of "VM HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY LLP".
You can also book your package online with Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

From 20-16 Days : 50%
From 15-07 Days : 75%
From 06-00 Days : 100%

Refund Policy :

Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

The above price is per person basis. High Season Surcharges are applicable; rates are not valid for long weekends and public holidays.
Child up to 4 yrs is Complimentary, Adult: 12 years and above.
Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving Licence, Passport.
All rates are valid for Indian national only.
The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice.
The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.
Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable.
Itinerary is subject to change.The above mentioned cost is not valid during National Holidays, festive season/long weekends, Christmas & New year.

Special Notes

Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing.
The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
