If the idea of travelling to North East hamlets, brings to your mind a vivid picture of the colonial hill station, embellished with rolling emerald green mountains in steep tiers, fluttering Tibetian flags against the backdrop of gigantic monasteries where lamas busy mumbling holy chants, and a handful of glittering lakes that holds a strong mythological significance, then what you have though is just a small clip art. The actual picture is far more stunning and alluring, however, the facts is that power of words can never comprehend the mysticism that this state possesses. Nowadays, many travellers and thrill seekers are heading to the hill station of North East, precisely Darjeeling and Gangtok, to seek a perfect holiday in serenity.

Any services or activity charges other than those included in the itinerary.

Entrance fees and Guide charges of sight seeings mentioned in the itinerary are not included.
Compulsory gala dinner charges during Xmas and New Year Period.

Tour Plan

Day 01

Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra, Transfer to Gangtok

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri) or Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri), you will meet our representatives, who will further transfer you to a hotel in Gangtok. The evening will be free for leisure. Also, you can indulge in some shopping and pick some handicrafts, hand looms, and souvenir. Dinner and Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Kickstart your day with a hearty meal as today is going to be a fun day. According to your pre-decided schedule, you will be visiting Tsomgo Lake (12,400 Feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. After spending few minutes at the lake, you will visit the Baba Mandir (13,200 Feet). Dinner and Overnight stay at Gangtok.

NOTE: In the case of the landslide, you won't be able to reach Tsomgo Lake (12,400 Feet), thus, an alternative will be arranged for you.

Day 03

Gangtok Sightseeing

In the morning, after breakfast, go for a city sightseeing tour. Going by the itinerary, today, you will be visiting Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. Thereafter, you will be transferred to Gangtok hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 04

Gangtok - Darjeeling

This morning after breakfast, drive to Darjeeling (5,500 feet), which is 100 km from Gangtok. View of lush green mountains and bubbling brooks will greet you at every turn. In the evening, you will be transferred to hotel on arrival at Darjeeling, acclimatize to the weather, followed by an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 05

Darjeeling Sightseeing

This morning, you will drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 feet) to chase the down and see the stunning view of the sun rising and throwing it pinkish glow on the landscapes. After spending some time at the tiger hill, you will embark on a drive to the hotel via Ghum Monastery, which famed for its 15-feet high statue of "Maitreya Buddha" and Batasia Loop, famous for its war memorial. Enjoy scrumptious breakfast at the hotel and then go for the city sightseeing tour. As per the itinerary, today you will be visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evenings will be free for leisure. Stay and enjoy dinner at Darjeeling.

Day 06

Mirik Excursion

This day will be dedicated to Mirik excursion, a tiny hamlet, which is approximately 58.2 km from Darjeeling. On your journey to Mirik, you will be making your way through Indo-Nepal Border. Further, you will be visiting the Mirik Lake (4,902 feet), Sumendu Lake, Cardamom plantations and Tea Estates. At Mirik Lake, you can enjoy boating or horse riding. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 07

Darjeeling NJP/Bagdogra, Departure

After breakfast, Check out and embark on a drive from the hotel to reach New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri) or Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri). Your arrival at the railway station or airport will mark the end of the tour.

Payment Terms

Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favor of "VM HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY LLP".
You can also book your package online with Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

From 30-22 Days : 25%
From 20-16 Days : 50%
From 15-07 Days : 75%
From 06-00 Days : 100%

Refund Policy :

Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

Booking Tnc

The above price is per person basis. High Season Surcharges are applicable; rates are not valid for long weekends and public holidays.
Child up to 4 yrs is Complimentary, Adult: 12 years and above.
Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving Licence, Passport.
All rates are valid for Indian national only.
The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice.
The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.
Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable.
Itinerary is subject to change.The above mentioned cost is not valid during National Holidays, festive season/long weekends, Christmas & New year.

Special Notes

Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing.
The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
