Tour Plan

Day 01

Arrive at Kolkata

On arrival at Kolkata Airport/ Railway station, meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. The evening is free at leisure for shopping. An overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Kolkata.

Day 02

Kolkata Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will proceed for the city tour of Kolkata covering High Court Building, Oldest Catholic Church in Calcutta, Howrah bridge, Vidyasagar Setu, National Museum, Victoria memorial, Kali Mandir, etc. Thereafter, we will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Kolkata.

Day 03

Full Day Excursion Trip to Gangasagar

Today, early in the morning after tea, we will leave for a full day excursion tour to Gangasagar where the Ganga drains into the sea & is considered to be of great religious significant & explore the Kapileshwar Muni Ashram- it is one Punya Tirtha among five Punya Dhams. Later return back to the hotel in Kolkata for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Dakhineswar & Belurmath Tour

After breakfast in the morning, we will visit Dakhineshwar & Belurmath by boat cruise on river Hoogoli to visit Ramakrishna mission. Also, we will visit the popular Jain Temple and the Mother Teressa House- Nirmal Hirdaya. The afternoon is free for shopping by your own. An overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Kolkata.

Day 05

Kolkata - Shantiniketan

In the morning after breakfast, we will board the train to Shantiniketan. It was founded in 1901 by Noble Laureate Shri Rabindra Nath Tagore who visualizes a perfect harmony of humanity with nature. Art gallery & museum are important to be seen. On arrival, get transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After lunch, we will visit the Santal villages. The evening is free at leisure for shopping. An overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Shantiniketan.

Day 06

Shantiniketan - Kolkata

After breakfast in the morning, we will explore Shantiniketan area & the open air classes, Visva Bharti Campus, Rabindra museum, Deep Park, Amarkuthi, Kantalikota (a place of small temple but mythological interest). Later, we will board the train to Kolkata. On arrival, check in at the hotel for a dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 07

Kolkata - Sundarban

Today, early in the morning we will departure from Kolkata & reach the largest Litoral Mangrove belt in the world. It is a nature interpretation centre where one can gather experience about the different species & projects on Sundarban. We will also visit crocodile projects.

Full day excursion inside the forest to search the world famous Royal Bengal tiger & crocodile. Departure by boat to Sajnekhali Tiger Projest, area for viewing wildlife, sajnekhali Museum, Mangrove Interpretation Centre & Watch Tower. An overnight saty and dinner at the hotel/resort in Sundarban.

Day 08

Sundarban Excursion

Today in the morning after breakfast, we will take an onward journey to Dobanki Forest Reserve & various islands & creeks. A thrilling boat cruise inside creeks and dense forest through numerous rivers while visiting Dobanki Watch Tower where the canopy walk inside the forest sends chills down your body (experience the life in which caged animals live in, while getting an all around view of the forest). Also, we will visit the spotted Deer Rehabilitation centre.

Thereafter, we will cruise through Matla – Sea face (the point from where the Bay of Bengal can be seen)- Cruising back the 5 river junction to Pitchkhali. Later return back to the resort for Lunch. In the evening, we will =promenade around the neighboring villages to interact with the local community at a typical Sundarban settlement their local art, Culture & Way of life (how man & tiger coexist in such a difficult terrain. In simple words a rendezvous stay the rural Bengal. Enjoy an overnight stay and dinner at the hotel/resort in Sundarban.

Day 09

Sundarban - Kolkata, Departure

In the morning after tea, we will departure for Sudhanyakhali & various creeks & Islands, breakfast onboard Brunch. Later, checkout from the hotel to reach the Basanti Port. Drive to Kolkata again with the unforgettable experience. After reaching Kolkata, you will get transfer to the airport/ Railway station for onward journey.

Payment Terms

Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favor of "VM HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY LLP".
You can also book your package online with Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

From 20-16 Days : 50%
From 15-07 Days : 75%
From 06-00 Days : 100%

Refund Policy :

Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

The above price is per person basis. High Season Surcharges are applicable; rates are not valid for long weekends and public holidays.
Child up to 4 yrs is Complimentary, Adult: 12 years and above.
Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving Licence, Passport.
All rates are valid for Indian national only.
The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice.
The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.
Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable.
Itinerary is subject to change.The above mentioned cost is not valid during National Holidays, festive season/long weekends, Christmas & New year.

Special Notes

Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing.
The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
